Vacation
Father & Popadija will be in Canada for a two-week vacation this month. Father Stephen Powley will minister to the parish during this time. While Fr. Stephen will be at St. Michael's on the 9th, our parish will worship at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church (two blocks away) on the 2nd. Fr. Stephen can be reached at (719) 275-1436. Fr. Barnabas can be reached in an emergency at (416) 487-6006.

Summer is a time for vacations, even for the clergy. Nevertheless, even while on vacation Fr. Barnabas will be serving somewhere on Sundays. When we plan our vacations, we ought to strive if possible to keep the Liturgy at the center of our plans. Toward this end a new link is being added to our website: orthodoxyinamerica.org. This site contains a database of all canonical Orthodox communities in North America. So when you plan your vacation, don't forget to plan where you will go to church.

Wedding
Alex and Olivia Craciun will be married in the Church on July 30th. Prior to the wedding, Olivia will be received into the Orthodox Church from Roman Catholicism. Both are newcomers to our parish, and Alex is a newcomer to our country. The pair will be featured in an upcoming "Parishioner Profile."

Choral Workshop
Our parish will host a choral workshop led by Peter Drobac on July 29th. The choirs from Colorado Springs and Calhan will also take part. Beginning at 10:30, the workshop will run approximately two hours and conclude with a potluck lunch.
